The Original Farm House (Office Building) – 3 on the plot map

The 760 acre Argeon Farm was purchased on Nov. 15, 1911 by Joseph C. Sibley who expanded and renamed it River Ridge Farm. The original owner was Robert G. Lamberton who lived in this red brick farm house nearest the barn. The plot map of River Ridge Farm marked this original farm house as the Office Building. Then the 1925 book, “Views of River Ridge Farm, Franklin, PA” by Joseph C Sibley, showed it as the home of Secretary and Treasurer Harrington.

In 1925, the Office was in a large wood frame building in the vicinity of the 5 Frame Residences – 6 on the plot map.
